What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN TEASDALE CLOSE, ROYSTON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Teasdale Close, Royston from its junction with Burns Road south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF POLICE ROW, THERFIELD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Police Row, Therfield from its junction with Hay Green north westwards for a distance of approximately 458m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Hay Green, Haywood Lane, Reed End, A10 (London Road/ Market Hill/Priory Lane), Melbourn Street, Baldock Street, Baldock Road, Therfield Road, The Causeway and Police Row or via Police Row, The Causeway, Therfield Road, Baldock Road, Baldock Street, Melbourn Street, A10 (Priory Lane/ Barkway Street/London Street), Reed End, Haywood Lane and Hay Green.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
