An alternative route is available via Old Rectory Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sheering Mill Lane, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Sheering Mill Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with The Four Acres for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Sheering Mill Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Lawrence Moorings for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.
3. To temporarily close that length of Sheering Mill Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 65m north westerly from its junction with Luxford Place for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 26th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003942 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Sheering Mill Lane, Sheering Lower Road, Station Road, Knight Street, The Square, Fair Green, Vantorts Road and vice versa.
(The Street, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 270m north east of its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06056352JB - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Hatfield Heath Road, Sheering Road, Chelmsford Road, Stortford Road, Lower Road, Latchmore Bank, Hallingbury Road, London Road, Thorley Street, Cambridge Road, Bonks Hill, Harlow Road, A414 Between Southern Town Boundary And Harlow Mill Roundabout, First Avenue, Gilden Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (Temporary Introduction of Banned Left & Right Turns) (Fifth Avenue, Harlow) (Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane) (No.2) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule 1 to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce banned left and right hand turns in those various lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule 2 to this Order.
4. To temporarily suspend to Bus Lane on Fifth Avenue, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point 78 metres from its junction with Hammarskjold roundabout northwestwards for approximately 244.8 metres as cited "The Essex Council
(Various Roads, Harlow) (Bus Lane) Order 2020. "The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 8th February 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(York Hill, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of York Hill, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Steeds Way to its junction with Kings Hill a distance of approximately 120m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (TY05026054294 - Community Fibre Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Community Fibre Limited. An alternative route is available via York Hill, Church Hill, Pump Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
