The Dorset Council (Shore Road, Swanage) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) (Order No.3) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended: Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
The Order will come into operation on 23 February 2024 the effect of the order will be to extend the current seasonal Prohibition of Vehicles restriction to all year.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose.

Temporary Closure of Brog Street, Corfe Mullen
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BROG STREET, CORFE MULLEN between both its junctions with B3074 and Spring Cottage, a distance of approximately 95 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18 February 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months.
This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out emergency gas works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place.

Temporary Closure of Yarrells Lane, Upton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Yarrells Lane, Upton. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 07:30 - 16:00 on 24 February 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 February 2024.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros Ltd, safe access to carry out carriageway surface treatment work.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 07:30 - 16:00 on 24 February 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4 March 2024.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros Ltd, safe access to carry out carriageway surface treatment work.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure of Norris Close, St Leonards and St Ives as indicated by signs on site.
[2] To impose temporary road closure of Bushmead Drive, St Leonards and St Ives as indicated by signs on site.
[3] To impose temporary road closure of Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards and St Ives as indicated by signs on site.
[4] To impose temporary road closure of Badgers Close, St Leonards and St Ives as indicated by signs on site.
[5] To impose temporary road closure of Windsor Close, St Leonards and St Ives as indicated by signs on site.

Temporary Closure of Beacon Park Road, Upton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Beacon Park Road, Upton between St Annes Road and Stuart Close, a distance of approximately 60 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 26 February 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 March 2024.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to carry out repairs to a defective sewer.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: St Annes Road - St Davids Road.
