ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council
in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which
will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length
of Tucking Mill Lane, Midford, Bath from its junction with
Old Midford Road extending south west for approximately
80 metres. USRN: 47921669.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to install
a stop tap in the verge on the 21st February 2024 for a maximum
period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when
traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole
of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the
works. This is anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Old Midford Road – B3110 Midford Road –
Tucking Mill Lane (remainder) – vice versa.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council
in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of
which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that
length of Bath Road, Peasedown St John from its junction
with Braysdown Lane extending east for approximately 50 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed
to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to replace
a BT pole in the footway on the 3rd March 2024 for a maximum
period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when
traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole
of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute
the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between
08:00-16:00hrs only.

Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of
which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length
of Firgrove Lane, Peasedown St John from its junction with
Hillside View extending north to its junction with Lower Church

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to replace
a decayed electricity pole on the 7th March 2024 for a maximum
period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNES WEIGHT
RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council
in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which
will be to temporarily introduce a temporary suspension of the
7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight restriction to permit vehicles over
7.5 tonnes to travel along the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 1
of this order, as part of a National Highways diversion route.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed
to be executed on or near the road to enable National Highways to
carry out essential drainage works on parts of the A36 Warminster
Road on the 21st February 2024 for a maximum period of
12 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic
signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the
period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
The works are anticipated to be carried out over FIVE NIGHTS
BETWEEN 20:00-06:00HRS ONLY.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the road for drainage improvement works
to remove highway flooding by Bath and North East Somerset
Council on the 4th March 2024 for a maximum period of
6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic
