HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD HEATH, HERTFORD AND GREAT AMWELL) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of A10 (unnamed road), Hertford Heath from its junction with the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 2880m.

An alternative route will be via A10 Amwell Link Road, A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/Edinburgh Way), A1178 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way/Bishops Park Way), A120 (Hadham Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill) and A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road).

2. the A10 northbound slip road leading from the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 576m.

An alternative route will be via A10 Amwell Link Road, A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/Edinburgh Way), A1178 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way/Bishops Park Way), A120 (Hadham Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Hill) and A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road).

3. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A414 Rush Green roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) north westwards to its junction with the A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 228m.

An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road/Wadesmill Bypass), the A10 Wadesmill Bypass/A120 Standon Hill roundabout, A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road) and the A414 Rush Green roundabout.

4. that length of Rickneys Lane, Hertford from its junction with B158 Wadesmill Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 205m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. that length of Gypsy Lane, Great Amwell from its junction with B1502 Stanstead Road north eastwards to its junction with A1170 Pepper Hill, a distance of approximately 481m.

An alternative route will be via B1502 Stanstead Road and A1170 Pepper Hill.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN TURNFORD, CHESHUNT, ST MARGARETS, HODDESDON AND BROXBOURNE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Nunsbury Drive, Turnford from its junction with B176 High Road north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Dark Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Cromwell Avenue southwards and south westwards to its junction with Bury Green Road, a distance of approximately 231m.

An alternative route will be via Dark Lane, B156 Goffs Lane, Churchgate and Bury Green Road or via Cromwell Avenue and Bury Green Road.

3. that length of Bury Green Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Dark Lane south westwards to its junction with Portland Drive, a distance of approximately 88m.

An alternative route will be via Tudor Avenue, Temple Close, Primrose Path and Bury Green Road.

4. that length of Bury Green Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Tudor Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 46m.

An alternative route will be via Tudor Avenue, Temple Close, Primrose Path and Bury Green Road.

5. that length of Churchgate, Cheshunt from its junction with College Road northwards and north westwards to its junction with Dewhurst Road, a distance of approximately 420m.

An alternative route will be via College Road, B198 College Road, B176 (Turners Hill/High Street/Cheshunt Wash), B156 (Halfhide Lane/Brookfield Lane West/Flamstead End Lane/Churchgate Road) and Churchgate.

6. that length of A1170 Ware Road, St Margarets/Hoddesdon from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road/A414 Eastwick Road roundabout south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the Bridleway/Plomer Avenue roundabout, a distance of approximately 1050m.

An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road, A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road/Hoddesdon Link Road) and A1170 (Amwell Street/Ware Road).

7. the Hailey Lane/Galley Green roundabout, Hoddesdon from its northernmost junction with A1170 Ware Road clockwise for a distance of approximately 77m.

An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road, A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road/Hoddesdon Link Road) and A1170 (Amwell Street/Ware Road).

8. that length of A1170 High Road, Broxbourne from its junction with St Catharines Road south westwards to its junction with St Michaels Road, a distance of approximately 298m.

An alternative route will be via A1170 (High Street/Charlton Way), A10 (Hoddesdon Link Road/unnamed road/Turnford Link Road) and A1170 (High Road/High Street).

9. that length of Baas Hill, Broxbourne from its junction with Bell Lane north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Spring Walk, a distance of approximately 856m.

An alternative route will be via Bell Lane, A1170 High Road, Church Lane and Spring Walk.

10. that length of B198 College Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Elgin Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Rowlands Close, a distance of approximately 279m.

An alternative route will be via B198 College Road, A10 Great Cambridge Road, B156 Halfhide Lane, B176 (Cheshunt Wash/High Street/Turners Hill) and B198 College Road.

11. the service road fronting Nos.48-82 College Road, Cheshunt from its junction with B198 College Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Rowlands Close , a distance of approximately 125m.

An alternative route will be via B198 College Road and Rowlands Close.

12. that length of Blindmans Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with B198 College Road north eastwards to its junction with Sandon Road, a distance of approximately 115m.

An alternative route will be via B198 College Road, B176 Turners Hill and Blindmans Lane.

13. that length of Downfield Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Holme Close north eastwards, north westwards, northwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Russells Ride, a distance of approximately 539m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN HODDESDON) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

a) that length of Burford Street, Hoddesdon from its junction with Burford Gardens south westwards to its southernmost junction with Old Essex Road, a distance of approximately 160m.

An alternative route will be via North Road, Roman Street and Burford Street.

b) that length of Old Essex Road, Hoddesdon from its northernmost junction with Burford Street south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.

An alternative route will be via Burford Street, Stanstead Road, Rye Road, River Avenue, Stortford Road and Old Essex Road.

c) that length of Stanstead Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Duke Street south eastwards to its junction with Burford Street, a distance of approximately 14m.

An alternative route will be via Stanstead Road, Rye Road, River Avenue, Stortford Road and Old Essex Road.

d) that length of Duke Street, Hoddesdon from a point 14m north west of its junction with Burford Street south eastwards to its junction with Burford Street, a distance of approximately 14m.

An alternative route will be via North Road, Roman Street and Burford Street.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding along that length of North Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Duke Street south eastwards to its junction with Roman Street, a distance of approximately 122m other than in a south easterly direction only.

An alternative route will be via Roman Street, Burford Street, A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Amwell Street) and Duke Street..

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding along that length of Roman Street, Hoddesdon from its junction with North Street south eastwards to its junction with Burford Street, a distance of approximately 122m other than in a south easterly direction only.

An alternative route will be via Burford Street, A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Amwell Street) and Duke Street.

4. The existing one way traffic system on North Road, Hoddesdon will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicular traffic to travel in the opposite direction, whilst works are in progress.

5. The existing one way traffic system on Roman Street, Hoddesdon will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicular traffic to travel in the opposite direction, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OSBORNE ROAD, BROXBOURNE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Osborne Road, Broxbourne from a point in line with the western boundary of No.3 Osborne Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Osborne Road, St Catherines Road and Osborne Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Lane, Wormley from a point 188m south east of its junction with White Stubbs Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Church Lane, White Stubbs Lane, Baas Hill, Bell Lane, A1170 High Road and Church Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rowleys Road, Hertford from its junction with Cromwell Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 22m (“the Road”).

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HAILEY LANE, HODDESDON/HAILEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hailey Lane, Hoddesdon/Hailey from its junction with the A1170 Ware Road/Galley Green roundabout north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with B1197 London Road, a distance of approximately 1762m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road and B1197 (Hertford Road/London Road).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SACOMBE POUND, SACOMBE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sacombe Pound, Sacombe from its junction with A602 Tonwell Bypass north eastwards to its junction with Sacombe Green Road, a distance of approximately 1085m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A602 Tonwell Bypass, Whempstead Road, Town Lane, Walkern Road, Benington Road, High Street, B197 (High Street/White Hill), C11 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), Mentley Lane, C16 Great Munden, Munden Road and Sacombe Pound.
