Kings Mill Lane (D355) South Nutfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Kings Mill Lane (D355) South Nutfield as extends from its junction with the boundary of the property known as “Flint Cottage” to its junction with the access to the property known as “Staplehurst Farm”. Alternative Route: Kings Cross Lane, Crab Hill Lane, Moats Lane, Prince of Wales Road, Green Lane, Axes Lane, Masons Bridge Road, Kings Mill Lane (Redhill), and Kings Mill Lane (South Nutfield), or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 March 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Partridge Mead (D1006) and Parkwood Road (D1006) Banstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Partridge Mead (D1006) Banstead as extends from its junction with (D1006) Parkwood Road to its junction with (D1004) Parsonsfield Road. Alternative Route: Partridge Mead, Nork Way, and Roundwood Way, or this route in reverse; and (b) Parkwood Road (D1006) Banstead as extends from its junction with (D1006) Partridge Mead to its junction with (D1006) Parkwood Close. Alternative Route: Parkwood View, Nork Way, and Partridge Mead, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate highways/footways safety improvement works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 March 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Footpath 160 (Bletchingley) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 22 February 2024 Surrey County Council will make the above mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Footpath 160 (Bletchingley) from its junction with Footpath 627 (Bletchingley) at O.S.Grid Reference 532090 152677 in an easterly turning to south westerly direction for a distance of 711 metres to its junction with Footpath 629 (Bletchingley) at O.S. Grid Reference 531982 152136.
The Order is necessary in order to complete mineral extraction and restoration of the development for which planning permission has been granted (TA2020/434 & RE20/00463/CON) whilst protecting the health and safety of members of the public. The closure will be in operation for a period of six months from 1 March 2024 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
The alternative route for traffic from the northern end of closure will be: proceed west along Footpath 627 for 179 metres, then south west for 471 metres along Footpath 162 and Footpath 161, then continue east, then south, then south east along Footpath 629 for 701 metres.
The alternative route for traffic from the southern end of the closure will be the reverse of the route described above.
The Surrey County Council Footpath 160 (Bletchingley)Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024 will be made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
