(VARIATION) (No 5) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53,101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) Order 2005 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:

1. To introduce a No Waiting at any time and No Loading at any time restriction on lengths of MARGARET STREET, CORNWALL STREET, EDMUND STREET, SNOW HILL QUEENSWAY, LIVERY STREET and COLMORE ROW;
2. To introduce a No Waiting at any time and No Loading, 8am to 7.30pm restriction on lengths of EDMUND STREET and LIVERY STREET;
3. To introduce a Loading Only, 20 Mins No Return 1 Hour restrictions on lengths of CORNWALL STREET, EDMUND STREET and LIVERY STREET;
4. To introduce a Motor Cycle Only Parking Place restriction on a length of CORNWALL STREET;
5. To introduce a Car Club Only Parking Place restriction on a length of CORNWALL STREET;
6. To introduce an Electric Vehicles Only Parking Place 3 hours No Return 4 hours restriction on a length of CORNWALL STREET;
7. To introduce Disabled Badge Holders Only Parking Place restrictions on lengths of CORNWALL STREET;
8. To amend lengths of Bus Lanes, all day every day, except Taxis, Motor Cycles and Pedal Cycles restrictions on GREAT CHARLES STREET QUEENSWAY and MARGARET STREET;
9. To introduce a No Right Turn except Buses, Taxis and Pedal Cycles restriction on GREAT CHARLES STREET QUEENSWAY into NEWHALL STREET.
10. To introduce Parking Places with Payment 8am to 7.30pm Max Stay 4 hours No Return 1 hour restrictions on lengths of LIVERY STREET;
11. To introduce a Prohibition of Right Turn restriction on vehicles turning right from LIVERY STREET into COLMORE ROW.
12. To introduce a Prohibition of U-Turn restriction on traffic heading north-east on COLMORE ROW out of LIVERY STREET from then turning to head south-west

The Orders will come into operation on 16th February 2024.

If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 15th February 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
