Chapel Street - Temporary Cycle Lane Closure For Completion Of Facade Works

What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days Salford City Council (A6 Chapel Street, Salford) (Temporary Cycle Lane Closure) Order 2024

Under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will close the cycle lane on A6 Chapel Cycle Lane, between junctions of Trinity Way and New Bailey Street.

The closure of the cycle lane is required to provide a safe working space for the removal of the scaffolding following completion of facade works to the City Point 2 scheme.

The Order is due to come into operation on the 25 March 2024 and will last for a period of 10 weeks. A copy of the proposed Order and a plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
