Bingley, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Electrical Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL A650 SIR FRED HOYLE WAY, BINGLEY AND A650 AIRE VALLEY ROAD, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works and in order to maintain the safety of road users is satisfied vehicles on A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley and A650 Aire Valley Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to implement a 50mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:-
i. A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way for a distance of 1677 metres southeast from the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with the B626S
ii. A650 Aire Valley Road for a distance of 2321 metres northwest from the centre of the roundabout forming its junction with the B6265
The proposed Order will come into effect at 8:00am on the 23rd February 2024 and remain in force until 6pm on the 15th August 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
