TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 14th February 2024, the Highway Authority being satisfied that access to the said road should be prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.

The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 14th February 2024, is to introduce temporary no waiting restrictions along the length of road specified in Schedule 1 between the hours of 4am - 6pm Monday to Sunday, to prohibit all vehicles other than hackney carriages to wait on the length of road specified in schedule 1 between 6pm and 4am Monday to Sunday, and to introduce temporary no waiting at any time restrictions along the length of road specified in Schedule 2 at such times as signs may be erected to notify users of the closure.

It is expected that restrictions will be required for a period of approximately 14 months. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.

Schedule 1 - Temporary No Waiting Restrictions 4am - 6pm, Hackney Carriages only 6pm to 4am Monday to Sunday

A1305 Riverside, Stockton - East side layby between points approximately 58 metres and 79 metres north of the junction with Tower Street.

Schedule 2 - Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions

Bridge Road, Stockton - East side between its junctions with Yarm Lane and Tower Street.
