Primrose Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PRIMROSE LANE, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Primrose Lane, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Primrose Lane from its junction with Dobb Kiln Lane for approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Primrose Lane (unaffected section), Primrose Bank, Cornwall Road, Gloucester Road, Kingsway Ferncliffe Road, Leonard Street, Bradford Road, Waggon Lane, Dowley Gap Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 26th February 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 1st March 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
