Church Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL CHURCH STREET, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Church Street, Keighley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Church Street from its junction with Church Walk to its junction with High Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Church Street (unaffected section), Bridge Street, High Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 21:00 hours on the 19th February 2024 and remains in force until 06:00 hours on the 20th February 2024 and then again at 21:00 hours on the 20th February 2024 and remains in force until 06:00 on the 21st February 2024 and then again at 21:00 hours on the 21st February and remains in force until 06:00 on the 22nd February 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
