What is happening?

(POLBETH ROAD, POLBETH)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 - TTO/23/85
The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the road noted in the Schedule below will be closed for the period specified to enable bridge repair works to be carried out. Traffic will be diverted as undernoted. Pedestrians will be unaffected.

SCHEDULE - ROAD CLOSURE
Location: Polbeth Road, Polbeth: Approx. 145m length at Polbeth Bridge (over West Calder burn) between Polbeth Farm Drive and The Five Sisters Zoo
Dates and Times: 0600hrs on 26 February to 2100hrs on 29 March 2024
Diversion Route: Clockwise traffic: Via Polbeth Road (southbound), turn right onto A71 Limefield Road (westbound), turn right onto B792 Cleuchbrae, turn right onto Mossend, diversion ends at Polbeth Road Anti- Clockwise traffic: Via Polbeth Road (westbound), turn left onto Mossend, turn left onto B792 Cleuchbrae, turn left onto A71 East End/Limefield Road (eastbound), diversion ends at Polbeth Road
