Yallands Hill, Temporary Closure due to Pole Works

Temporary Closure of Yallands Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Yallands Hill - from the junction with Milton Hill to the junction with Monkton Heathfield Road. A total distance of 110 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to replace a damaged pole.

The Order becomes effective on 15th February 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 20th February 2024 and last until 20th February 2024 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
