Pemberton Road, Construction Of Road Humps
What is happening?
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF ROUND TOPPED ROAD HUMPS (C131 PEMBERTON ROAD, BRIDGEHILL, CONSETT)
In accordance with Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 Durham County Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 90G of the Highways Act 1980, propose to construct round topped road humps complying with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 on the C131 Pemberton Road, Bridgehill, Consett. The scheme will comprise of six round topped road humps in the following locations on Pemberton Road: - 1. adjacent to St Marys Roman Catholic Primary School 2. adjacent to number 45 Pemberton Road 3. adjacent to number 24 Pemberton Road 4. adjacent to number 25 Pemberton Road 5. adjacent to Bridge Hill Playing Fields 6. Adjacent to number 1 Pemberton Road. Please refer to plan attached to this notice for location, dimensions, layout and construction details of the round topped speed hump. Full details of the proposal are available to view at Consett Library during normal opening hours and via the council's website.
