Corbridge Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) A695 CORBRIDGE ROAD HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A695 Corbridge Road Hexham from its junction with Coach House Drive to its junction with Eastwood Grange Road for a length of 425 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th February 2024 until the 25th March 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th February 2024 until the 4th March 2024 between the hours of 18:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A695, B6321, B6529, A69, A6079 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Tangent Construction to carry out Section 278 works for Barratt Homes. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
