POOLE LIFTING BRIDGE/BRIDGE APPROACH -

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE OF BRIDGE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHERE & WHAT: Poole Lifting Bridge/Bridge Approach - bridge and road closed to all vehicles, including cyclists and pedestrians.

WHEN: From Sunday 10 March up to 7pm on Friday 22 March 2024.

WHY: To facilitate the annual maintenance of Poole Lifting Bridge.

DIVERSIONS: via Twin Sails Bridge.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
