MICRO ASPHALT SURFACING WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Roads closed to all vehicles - suspension of parking - no parking, no waiting and no loading/unloading at any time will be permitted. Any vehicles left obstructing the works risk receiving a Penalty Charge Notice and being removed. Works are anticipated to take place from 8am until 6pm each day.

Carbery Avenue - entire length - anticipated dates: 6 to 8 March 2024

Surrey Road - No. 55 to Prince of Wales Road junction - anticipated dates: 9 & 10 March 2024

Earle Road - entire length - anticipated date: 10 March 2024

Richmond Park Avenue - entire length - anticipated dates: 10 & 11 March 2024

Burnaby Road - entire length - anticipated date: 12 March 2024

Studland Road - Beaulieu Road to Burnaby Road - anticipated dates: 12 & 13 March 2024

Sandbourne Road - entire length - anticipated dates: 13 & 14 March 2024

Westbourne Park Road - entire length - anticipated dates: 15 & 18 March 2024

Pembroke Road - entire length - anticipated date: 18 March 2024

Tower Road - entire length including section to Westminster Road -anticipated dates: 18 & 19 March 2024

Barnes Road - entire length - anticipated date: 20 March 2024

Horsham Avenue - entire length - anticipated date: 21 March 2024

Knole Road - entire length - anticipated date: 27 & 28 March 2024

Howeth Road - entire length - anticipated dates: 2 to 4 April 2024

Beaufort Road - entire length - anticipated date: 4 to 6 April 2024

Clarence Park Road - entire length - anticipated date: 7 April 2024

Turbary Park Avenue - entire length (exc jcns of Daws Ave and Elliott Road) anticipated dates: 15 to 19 April 2024

Old Farm Road from its junction with Dale Valley Road to boundary of No.29 - anticipated date: 22 March 2024

Hobbs Road - entire length - anticipated date: 7 April 2024

Shipstal Close from its junction with Turlin Road to the end of the cul-de-sac - anticipated date: 22 March 2024

Redhorn Close from its junction with Russell Gardens to the end of the cul-de-sac - anticipated date: 22 March 2024

Maryland Road between the junctions of Turlin Road and Fitzworth Avenue - anticipated date: 22 March 2024

Russell Gardens between the junctions of Fitzworth Avenue and Turlin Road - anticipated date: 23 March 2024

Fitzworth Avenue - entire length - anticipated dates: 23 & 24 March 2024

Keysworth Road - entire length - anticipated dates: 24 & 25 March 2024

WHERE AND WHEN - POOLE AREA (Whitecliff):

Twemlow Avenue - entire length - anticipated dates: 25 & 26 March 2024

WHERE AND WHEN - POOLE AREA (Broadstone):

Sutherland Avenue - enitre length - anticipated dates: 7 & 8 April 2024

Ascot Road - entire length - anticipated date: 8 April 2024

Anvil Crescent - entire length - anticipated dates: 8 & 9 April 2024

WHERE AND WHEN - CHRISTCHURCH AREA:

B3347 Salisbury Road/Stony Lane - from Stony Lane Roundabout onto Salisbury Road up to the boundary in Winkton north of Burley Road - anticipated dates: 8 to 15 April 2024.

WHY: To enable Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to carry out Micro Asphalt Surfacing Works.

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

Residents will be notified by letter regarding access.

DIVERSIONS: Via signed routes.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
