U4012 Alnham House Junction To Little Ryle Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U4012 ALNHAM HOUSE JUNCTION
TO LITTLE RYLE JUNCTION WHITTINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U4012 Alnham House Junction To Little Ryle Junction Whittingham from its junction with the C169 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th March 2024 until the 11th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th March 2024 until the 10th May 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C169, C172, U4009 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out bridge works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
