What is happening?

(BURNCROSS) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 15 February 2024 Sheffield City Council made the above Order which comes into operation on 19 February 2024 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole or on parts of Acacia Avenue, Albany Avenue, Ash View, Barnes Hall Road, Bentley Road, Berry Holme Close, Berry Holme Court, Berry Holme Drive, Bevan Way, Birch Avenue, Broad Inge Crescent, Broadway Avenue, Burncross Grove, Burns Court, Burns Drive, Byron Avenue, California Drive, Cedar Way, Chapel Close, Cherry Walk, Chestnut Drive, Cowley View Close, Cowley View Road, Crakehall Road, Cumberland Crescent, Cypress Gate, Drake Close, Ecclesfield Road Service Road, Elm Rise, Fir Tree Rise, Greenhead Gardens, Harvey Road, Hawkins Avenue, Hazel Grove, Hill Crest Road, Holly Close, Hornbeam Close, Hunshelf Road Laburnum Close, Lansbury Avenue, Larch Grove, Lime Grove, Mackenzie Crescent, Maple Place, Meadow Drive, Milton Road, Mountbatten Drive, Nelson Place, Nether Ley Avenue, Nether Ley Court, Nether Ley Croft, Nether Ley Gardens, Park Avenue, Park Terrace, Park View Road, Pine Croft, Pine Croft Way, Raleigh Drive, Redwood Glen, Rowan Close, Scott Way, Smith Street, St Giles Square, Stafford Way, Steven Close, Steven Crescent, Steven Place, Stuart Grove, Stuart Road, Upper Ley Court, Upper Ley Dell, Walnut Place, Westbury Avenue and Willow Crescent.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 15 February 2024 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
