Horsham & West Chiltington - Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
West Sussex County Council
(Horsham: Worthing Road & Blackstone Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:
(i) Worthing Road between with Sainsburys Roundabout and Blackbridge Lane and;
(ii) Blackbridge Lane between Worthing Road and Hills Farm Lane.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas replacement works are undertaken.
The Order came into effect on 19 February 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 19 February 2024 and will take 12 weeks to complete. Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to SGN telephone number 0800 9121 700. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
(West Chiltington: East Street, Sinnocks & Southlands Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:-
(i) East Street between Coolham Road and Broadford Bridge Road; and
(ii) Sinnocks and Southlands between East Street and Gayswood Nursery.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst telecommmunication works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 19 February 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. Works are expected to be completed by 8 March 2024.
