What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 39 (PART)
AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 58 (PART) STAFFORD PARISH
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 10/8/23 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the following sections of public rights of way:
• Public Bridleway No. 39 Stafford Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 61 Stafford Parish for approximately 323 metres in a generally westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 58 Stafford Parish.
• Public Bridleway No. 39 Stafford Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 58 Stafford Parish for approximately 402 metres in a generally westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 57 Stafford Parish.
• Public Footpath No. 58 Stafford Parish from its junction with Public Bridleway No. 39 Parish for approximately 379 metres in a southerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 56 Stafford Parish.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to housing development works.
An alternative route is available for Public Footpath No. 58 Stafford Parish using the footpath network in the vicinity.
The developer has also agreed that equestrians and cyclists can use part of Public Footpath No. 57 and Public Footpath No. 61 as an alternative to the closed section of Public Bridleway No. 39, as a permissive alternative route.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of public bridleway and public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 17/8/23 and will remain in force for a further period of eighteen months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

(STAFFORD) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT) NO. X/20XX
Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on Friars Ave, Church St & Whitebridge Ln, Stone. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Stone Library, High St, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8AT or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 13/2/24 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:
Common Rd, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=136935111. The Order will come into operation on 18/2/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the manhole repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
The Casey, Salt. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136930745. The Order will come into operation on 17/2/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/2/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge inspection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Moss Ln, Mossgate. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136913099. The Order will come into operation on 19/2/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/2/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent pressure reducing valve works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Jolt Ln, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136906469. The Order will come into operation on 19/2/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/2/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the boundary box installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Railway St, South St and Cycleway from Castle St to Martin Drive, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137289499. The Order will come into operation on 04/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/3/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Installation of traffic calming speed cushions, signage disconnections and installation, road markings and vegetation clearance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 29/2/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 06/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 08/3/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent chamber rebuild works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 05/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT Pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 04/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 08/3/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the underground mains extension works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDERS
A449 Wolverhampton Rd, Garden St, Park St, Austin Friars, Meyrick Rd, Talbot Rd and Telegraph St, Stafford. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to: prohibit vehicles travelling southbound on A449 Wolverhampton Rd from A449 Queensway Island to Herbert Rd; prohibit vehicles from proceeding along A449 in both directions from A449 Queensway Island to Herbert Rd; revoke the One-Way Orders on Garden St, Park St, Austin Friars, Meyrick Rd, Talbot Rd and Telegraph St. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 10/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the kerbing, drainage, carriageway resurfacing and road lining works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED LIMIT
A51 London Rd, Pasturefields. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from exceeding a temporary speed limit of 40MPH along A51 London Rd, Pasturefields. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136837927. The Order will come into operation on 04/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/3/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent outfall pipe installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
