(Temporary Prohibition of All Traffic, Waiting/Loading, Speed Restriction and One Way) – Order Events/2024/2
NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council (“the Council”) intends after seven days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994, the effect of which is to restrict traffic on the roads listed in schedule 1,2, 4 and 5 and to impose a temporary speed limit along the road in schedule 3.
The Order will be effective, for facilitating the Cambridge Half Marathon Event, when signs are in place indicating the restrictions on any or all of roads listed.
The Proposed Order will come into operation on 2nd of March 2024 for 2 days. Further details of all restriction timings can be found at https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travelroads- and-parking/roads-and-pathways/highway-events.
Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent the passage of any vehicle being used by any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
