(FRINDSBURY HILL, ROCHESTER) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the construction of the Maritime Academy.

Frindsbury Hill and Berwick Way, Rochester
Road Closures - to be closed to all vehicular traffic in one or both directions between Sans Pareil Roundabout and Brickfield View as required by the progress of the works; Wainscott Road junction with Sans Pareil Roundabout to be closed as required.
Speed Limits - Berwick Way speed limit to be reduced from 50mph to 30mph between Upnor Roundabout and Frindsbury Hill roundabout. In Wulfere Way A289 the 70mph speed limit will be reduced to 50mph and the 50mph speed limit reduced to 30mph.
Footpaths – the footpath between Berwick Way and Frindsbury Hill will be diverted via Parsonage Lane.
Bus Gate – the bus gate Commissioners Road/Canal Road will be suspended to facilitate the exit of traffic from Whitewall Industrial Estate.

Alternative routes and temporary speed limits will be signed as required according to the progress of the works.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 11 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within three months. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BILL STREET ROAD, STROOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable drainage works to be carried out -

Bill Street Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 119 Bill Street Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(HAVEN STREET, WAINSCOTT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable services to be connected to a property -

Haven Street, Wainscott - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of Holly Tree Cottage. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Common Road, Bunters Hill Road and Islingham Farm Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BOLEY HILL, ROCHESTER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a manhole frame and cover to be replaced -

Boley Hill, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with St Margarets Street and the junction with Bakers Walk. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

An alternative route will be provided and signed.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 20 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after 7pm on Wednesday, 20 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within approximately eight hours. The Order will be
effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(FRANKLIN ROAD, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Franklin Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the frontage of 18 Franklin Road and the frontage of 130 Franklin Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

An alternative route will be available via Duncan Road and Gillinghaam Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 26 February 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 26 February 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Queens Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 31 Queens Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable utility services to be connected to a new build property -

Milton Avenue, Cliffe Woods - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 1 Milton Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Town Road, Parkside and Tennyson Avenue.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 26 February 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 26 February 2024 and are programmed for completion within five weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(MAIDSTONE ROAD, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a communications mast to be removed and replaced -

Maidstone Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Rochester Road at Bridgewood Roundabout and the northern extremity of the on-slip road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Lord Lees Roundabout, Blue Bell Hill and Maidstone Road.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 21 February 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 21 February 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable services to be connected to a property -

Seagull Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the northern arm of Seagull Road at the side of No. 21 and the northern extremity of the on-slip road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 11 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within eight days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(ST MARYS ROAD AND THE RIDGEWAY, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas mains replacement works to be carried out -

St Marys Road and The Ridgeway, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in St Marys Road, between Clifton Road and Stanley Road, and (b) for the whole length of The Ridgeway (No alternative route is available for The Ridgeway. Emergency access will be maintained at all times). Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route for St Marys Road will be available via Saunders Street and Richmond Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within five weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
