What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
B261 OLD ROAD WEST, GRAVESEND, DA11 7BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B261 Old Road West, Gravesend, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
B261 Old Road West will be closed outside numbers 100 and 167.
The works will not be completed at same time.
The diversion route is via:
Westbound: B261 Old Road West, B261 Dover Road East, B261 Dover Road, Rosherville Way, A226 Thames Way, B1275 London Road, B1275 Overcliffe, A226 New Road, A226 Bath Street, A226 West Street, Crooked Lane, The Terrace, Harmer Street, Berkley Crescent, A226 Milton Road, A226 Parrock Street, A226 Lord Street, A226 Windmill Street, A226 Woodville Place, A227 Wrotham Road, B261 Old Road West.
Eastbound: B261 Old Road West, A227 Wrotham Road, A226 Rathmore Road, A226 Darnley Road, A226 New Road, B1275 Overcliffe, B1275 London Road, A226 Thames Way, Rosherville Way, B261 Dover Road, B261 Dover Road East, B261 Old Road West.
CHURCHILL ROAD, GRAVESEND, DA11 7BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Churchill Road, Gravesend, on or after 19th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 10.
The alternative route is via Cecil Road, Salisbury Road and Pelham Road South and eastbound is via Pelham Road South, B261 Old Road West and Cecil Road.
DEAN LANE, MEOPHAM, DA13 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dean Lane, Meopham, on or after 19th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Dene Garth.
The alternative route is via Dean Lane, Harvel Street, David Street, Priestwood Road, Chandlers Road and vice versa.
HIVE LANE, NORTHFLEET, DA11 9HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of the installation of service ducts and resurfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hive Lane, Northfleet, on or after 7th March 2024 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Rayners Court.
The alternative route is via Hive Lane, B2175 High Street, College Road, Warwick Place, Kingston Court, Fishermens Hill, Ford Road and vice versa.
LINGFIELD ROAD, GRAVESEND, DA12 5HE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Lingfield Road, Gravesend, on or after 19th February 2024 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Central Avenue, Ferndale Road, Singlewell Road and vice versa.
WHITEHILL ROAD, MEOPHAM, DA13 0NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of mains fitting repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitehill Road, Meopham, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bardfield.
The alternative route is via Foxendown Lane, Oakenden Road, Brimstone Hill, Woodhill, Priestwood Road, David Street, Whitehill Road and vice versa.
