What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: Phase A: Quartermaster Road, Heywood; from its junction with Link Road to its junction with Storridge Road. Phase B: Broadway North (Part), Heywood; from its junction with Link Road to its junction with Headquarters Road. Phase C: Link Road (Part), Heywood; from its junction with Quartermaster Road to outside its property known as Club Ice to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out full carriageway reconstruction and associated works. Alternative route Phase A and B via Storridge Road - Headquarters Road and vice versa. Alternative route C via Storridge Road - B3097 - Link Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closures are anticipated to be required 24 hours a day but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. The phases will run consecutively and not concurrently and local publicity will be arranged for all affected businesses until 31 March 2024. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 23 March 2024. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 07 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. Alternative route via A363 (unaffected length) - B3109 - B3107 - A363 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 3 days. This Order will come into operation on 17 February 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 07:00. Two Saturday nights (17 and 24 February 2024) and four midweek nights from 19 February 2024 until 22 February 2024. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 08 March 2024. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00 for 3 days. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Scottish and Southern Power Distribution. L) Woolley Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Grange View to outside its property known as Woolley Grange to enable Openreach to carry out new kerbs and associated works. Alternative route via Woolley Street (unaffected length) - B3105 - B3109 - Woolley Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 February 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (FAIRWOOD ROAD, DILTON MARSH AND NORTH BRADLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.36) 2024 (Ref TTRO 9230)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway retexturing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 12 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 3 weeks but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closure is anticipated to take place between 12 February 2024 and 08 March 2024. Schedule 1. Fairwood Road, Dilton Marsh and North Bradley; from its junction with B3099 to its junction with Wood Road. Alternative route (vice versa) 1. via Wood Road - Brokerswood Road - Bradley Road - Westbury Road - A363 - A350 - Laverton Road - Camague Road - A3098 - Tanyard Way - B3099. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a prohibition of right hand turn on: A) A350 (Part), Melksham; from A350 onto Foundry Close. B) Foundry Close (Part), Melksham; from Foundry Close onto A350. Alternative route A: via A350 southbound to Farmers roundabout -A350 northbound and left into Foundry Close. Alternative route B: via A350 northbound to Leeks roundabout - A350 southbound to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out a replacement of traffic signal poles and associated works. The prohibition of turn and alternative route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and the restriction will be required until 08 March 2024. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 20 February 2024. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (B3107 HOLT ROAD, BRADFORD ON AVON)

(30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (B3107 Holt Road, Bradford on Avon) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2021 and re-enact it in the above Order and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on B3107 Holt Road, Bradford on Avon - from a point 133 metres west of its junction with Cemetery Lane to a point 59 metres west of that junction. Deposit copies of the Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
