Bromyard Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4214 Bromyard Road, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4214 Bromyard Road, Ledbury, between Burtons Lane and Beggars Ash. Grid Ref: 370137 / 239396. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 Hereford Road onto the A417 onto the A4103 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
