ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

B4455 FOSSE WAY, CHESTERTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from B4100 Roundabout to the junction with Windmill Hill Lane. Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of new water connections from main.

Order Commences: 10 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Fosse Way, Harbury Lane, Oakley Wood Road, Banbury Road and vice versa.

Contractor: For STW, Go TM, Tel: 01158 965 832.

C25 FIVE WAYS ROAD, SHREWLEY

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with the B4439 Old Warwick Road and Case Lane.

Reason for Order: Pre-surface dressing patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: A4177 Birmingham Road, B4439 Old Warwick Road and vice versa.

CHURCH HILL, CUBBINGTON, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junctions with Church Lane.

Reason for Order: Meter installation and boundary box repair.

Order Commences: 13 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

D41490 GEORGE ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Montague Road and All Saints Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 13 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Monague Road, Charles Street, All Saints Road and vice versa.

Access to Nelson Avenue and Dale Close will be limited while works are in progress.

LYE GREEN, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Provide area for engineers to access pole to provide overhead cabling, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Lye Green, Holywell, High Cross Lane, The Cumsey and vice versa.

TACHBROOK ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable long pipe installation.

Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 15 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: No diversion possible.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A452 ADELAIDE ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between Dormer Place and Avenue Road.

Reason for Order: Pre-surface dressing patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 25 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 25 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Dormer Place, B4087 (Parade, Victoria Terrace), Spencer Street, Avenue Road and vice versa.

D4295 BEVERLEY ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Northumberland Road and Guys Cliffe.

Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only.

Order Commences: 26 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 March 2024.

Access & Diversion: Northumberland Road, A445 (Binswood Street Roundabout, Rugby Road), Guys Cliffe Avenue and vice versa. Access/Egress to/from The Fairways, Wheathill Close and Cliffe Road will be restricted while works are in progress.

D4589 SARGEAUNT STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between Kennan Avenue and Bury Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 08:0016:00 hrs.

Order Commences: 1 March 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 March 2024

Access & Diversion: Kennan Avenue and Bury Road and vice versa.

D45910 SWADLING STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed between Lee Road and Kennan Avenue.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 1 March 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 March 2024.

Access & Diversion: Lee Road, Bury Road, Kennan Avenue and vice versa.

LANSDOWNE ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Laying of approx. 80m of duct in carriageway.

Order Commences: 27 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 March 2024.

Access & Diversion: No diversion possible.

MAIN STREET, NORTON LINDSEY

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Repair and replacement of manhole, closed 07.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 29 February 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Main Street, Wolverton Road, New Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM EAST GROVE TO EAGLE STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable boundary box renewal.

Order Commences: 26 February 2024 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: No diversion possible.

PUBLIC CYCLE WAY FROM COVENTRY ROAD TO GUYS CLIFFE TERRACE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Cycle Way closed to ALL traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable essential utility works.

Order Commences: 26 February 2024 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 27 February 2024.

Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, RADFORD SEMELE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which imposes a 20mph speed limit on the length of roads mentioned in Schedule 1 below, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit (in place by virtue of a system of Streetlighting).

The Order commences on Monday 12th February 2024.

A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the length of roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, during usual opening hours and on the Council’s website https://www.warwickshire.gov. uk/news/20210/warwick-district.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
