No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, maintenance, rectification, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 12 February 2024 until 1800 hours on Thursday 15 February 2024, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Queens Road between its junctions with Esplanade Road and Castle Hill. The 6'6 Width restriction will be revoked along Baring Road between its junctions with Egypt Hill and Ward Avenue. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The order is required for safety during building and scaffolding works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 and 1130 hours on Tuesday 13 February 2024, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along a) St James Square for its entire length; b) Market Square, for its entire length c) High Street, between its junctions with South Street and Market Square. The closures are required for safety during the Yarmouth Pancake Races event. The diversion will be signposted locally.
