What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PERTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Perton Road in both directions between its junctions with Perton Brook Vale and Boundary Farm. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 19 February 2024 until 20 February 2024. The diversion route is: Tinacre Hill, Bridgnorth Road, Wightwick Bank and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate remedial reinstatement works by Severn Trent Water.
