(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Beech Avenue at its westerly junction with A631 Bawtry Road from Monday 12th February to Friday 23rd February 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via a local diversion. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (installation of telecommunications apparatus).

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the borough of Rotherham made the above mentioned Order on 7th. February 2024 which shall come into effect on the 15th. February 2024. Notice of the proposal to make the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 14th. December 2023. The Order will designate as disabled residents parking places that part of the highways specified in the Schedule below for use by the residents whose vehicles shall properly display a valid disabled person’s badge and residents parking permit issued by the Council in respect of those vehicles.

The Northern kerbline, 32.00 meters from the Eastern kerbline of Ferham Park Avenue for a distance of 7.00 metres in a Easterly direction.

143 Lady Oak Road, Herringthorpe

The North-eastern kerbline, 49.00m meters from the extended Northern kerbline of Laudesdale Road for a distance of 7.00 metres in a Northwesterly direction.

The North-western kerbline, 16.00 meters from the extended Southwestern kerbline of Whitegate Walk for a distance of 3.00 metres in a North-easterly direction.

The South-eastern kerbline, 25.00 meters from the extended Southwestern kerbline of Spring Street for a distance of 5.00 metres in a

South-westerly direction.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with in any way may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.

February until Monday 4th. March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local diversions.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of telecommunications apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the six parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from Tuesday 20th. February until Monday 4th. March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local diversions except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the six parts of road (Installation of telecommunications apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Coke Lane at its Junction with Westgate and Canklow Road.

(ii)   Chapel Lane at its junction with Canklow Road.

(iii)   Mill Street from its Junction with Canklow Road to its junction with Town Street.

(iv)   Town Street from its junction with Mill Street to outside property No. 47 Town Street.

(v)   Rother View Road at its junction with Mill Street.

(vi)   Robinson Street at its junction with Canklow Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF BELLOWS ROAD RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Bellows Road from its junction with A633 High Street for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction from Monday 19th. February until Monday 4th. March 2024 between 8pm and 6am each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via A633 High Street, A633 Blyth Avenue, Dale Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Remedial works). Dated this 8th. day of February 2024

No waiting at any time

Lodge Hill Drive Wales Road and Manor Road Wales Sheffield

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the borough of Rotherham proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order if implemented will be to introduce ‘No Waiting at any Time’ restrictions to the parts of road specified in the Schedule to  this notice;

No Waiting at Any Time Lodge Hill Drive Wales

i.     Both sides from the extended northern curb line of Wales Road for

a distance of 20m in a northerly direction.

Wales Road Wales

ii.     Northern curb line from the extended western curb line of Lodge Hill Drive for a distance of 20m in a westerly direction.

iii.    Northern curb line from the extended eastern curb line of Lodge Hill Drive for a distance of 20m in a eastly direction.

Manor Road Wales

i       South eastern curb line from the extended northern curb of Wales Road for a distance 124m in a north eastly direction.

ii.     North western curb line from the extended northern curb line of School Road for a distance of 105m in a north eastly direction.

iii.    South eastern curb line from the extended north eastern curb line of Beeches Road for a distance of 11m in a north eastly direction. Exemptions will apply to the no waiting at any time restrictions to enable a vehicle to wait for passengers to board or alight, for disabled badge holders, for loading and unloading of goods, for enabling work  to be carried out in or adjacent to the road and for emergency  service vehicles.

Copies of the proposed Order a map showing the length and side of the roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council’s Offices at the address shown below.

Objections to the proposed Order and other representations relating to it can be sent to the undersigned (quoting reference NF/71982, e-mail Legal-TRO@rotherham.gov.uk) at the address shown below and must  be received by the undersigned no later than the 8th. March 2024. All objections and other representations must be made in writing and  all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
