Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Glinton Road, Helpston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-369

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, High St (Maxey), Maxey Rd, A15, Helpston Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 12/02/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 11/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 23:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 12/02/2024 to the 13/02/2024.  BR2

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is shown in the schedule. The proposed Order will come into force on the 11/02/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 10/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 11/02/2024 and 18/02/2024. BR2

The City of Peterborough Peterborough Road, Castor, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-397

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Peterborough Road, Castor, as lies between Stocks Hill and No 27. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A47 and Ferry Hill. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/02/2024 and will continue until the New Water Connection works have been completed or until the 09/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 10/02/2024 and the 11/02/2024. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willow Drove, Newborough, approximately 350m north of Thorney Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order; access will be maintained to affected properties. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/02/2024 and will continue until the installation of strategic pipeline works have been completed or until the 21/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 22/02/2024 and 06/03/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Thorney Road, Peakirk as lies between points 20 metres either side of Folly Bank Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 Thorney Rd, Werrington Bridge Rd, Glinton Bypass, B1443 Lincoln Rd, High St, Peakirk Rd, St Pegas Rd and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 22/02/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 21/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 22:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 22/02/2024 to the 23/02/2024. BR1
