ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE A47 TRUNK ROAD (NECTON, NORFOLK) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) AND (REVOCATION) ORDER 2024

National Highways Limited(a) gives notice that it has made an Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on lengths of the A47 Trunk Road ("the A47") in the County of Norfolk. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 40mph speed limit on the A47 at Necton, between points 340 metres west and 360 metres east of its junction with the C117, Dunham Road, a distance of 700 metres. The A47 Trunk Road (Necton, Norfolk) (50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2000 No.2636 would be revoked. A copy of the Order, together with a location plan may be inspected during normal office hours until 15 March 2024 by appointment only at Dereham Library, 59 High Street, Dereham NR19 1DZ, or obtained by application to National Highways, Operations Division, Orders Section, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW or by e-mailing OpsEastOrders@nationalhighways.co.uk.
