NOTICE OF MAKING OF A DIVERSION ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 (WARESIDE 4)
DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order made on 25th January 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the public bridleway running from TL 3869 1546 in a south-easterly direction for approximately 35 metres to TL 3872 1545 to a line running from TL 3869 1546 and heading in a generally southerly direction for approximately 33 metres to join Wareside Restricted Byway 24 at TL 3869 1543, as shown on the Order Plan.

If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN HIGH CROSS, DANE END AND THUNDRIDGE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Pest House Lane, High Cross from its junction with High Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 150m.
An alternative route will be via Ermine Street, Standon Green End and Pest House Lane.
2. that length of Standon Green End, High Cross and Potters Green/Whitehill, Dane End from its junction with Ermine Street north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Munden Road, a distance of approximately 4000m.
An alternative route will be via Ermine Street, C95 (unnamed road), Mill Lane and Munden Road.
3. that length of Poles Lane, Thundridge from its junction with Cambridge Road south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Marshalls Lane, High Cross from its junction with High Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 200m.
An alternative route will be via High Road, Ermine Street, Standon Green End, Potters Green, Rowney Lane and Marshalls Lane.
5. that length of Cold Christmas Lane, Thundridge from its junction with Cambridge Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 400m.
An alternative route will be via Cambridge Road, High Road, Ermine Street, Gore Lane, C39 (unnamed road) and Cold Christmas Lane.
The Order is needed because duct laying works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BULLSMILL LANE, STAPLEFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bullsmill Lane, Stapleford from its southernmost junction with Sacombe Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 497m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Sacombe Road and Bullsmill Lane.
The Order is needed because tree maintenance works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B1000 HERTFORD ROAD, TEWIN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1000 Hertford Road, Tewin from its junction with Old Herns Lane north westwards to its junction with B1000 Waterside, a distance of approximately 624m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1000 (Hertford Road/Welwyn Road), A119 (North Road/ High Road/Hertford Road), A602 (Watton at Stone Bypass/Hooks Cross/Broadhall Way), B197 (Monkswood Way/London Road/Stevenage Road/London Road/Mardley Hill/Great North Road), A1000 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Hertford Road/Bessemer Road/Mundells) and B1000 Waterside.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HOE LANE, HERTFORD HEATH) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hoe Lane, Hertford Heath from its junction with A119 London Road south westwards to its junction with Beech Close, a distance of approximately 544m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A119 London Road, A1170 (London Road/Amwell Hill/ Pepper Hill), B1502 Stanstead Road and Hoe Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON COLLETT ROAD, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To temporarily suspend the existing one way traffic system on Collett Road, Ware from its junction with New Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Collett Road into New Road, Ware whilst works are in progress.
An alternative route will be via Collett Road, The Bourne, A1170 (Baldock Street/High Street) and New Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1001 WATTON ROAD, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1001 Watton Road, Ware from its westernmost junction with Gladstone Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1001 Watton Road, A1170 (Baldock Street/ Wadesmill Road), A10 (unnamed road) and B1001 (Westmill Road/Watton Road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SACOMBE GREEN ROAD, SACOMBE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sacombe Green Road, Sacombe from its junction with Sacombe Public Bridleway No.004 south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 74m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Rowney Lane, Whitehill, Munden Road, Sacombe Pound and Sacombe Green Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ACORN STREET, HUNSDON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Acorn Street, Hunsdon from its junction with Nine Ashes south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Acorn Street, B180 (High Street/Stanstead Road/ Hunsdon Road), B181 Roydon Road, A414 Eastwick Road, Church Lane and Acorn Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bread and Cheese Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Appleby Street north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Appleby Street, Park Lane Paradise, Beaumont Road and Bread and Cheese Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VICARAGE LANE, STAPLEFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Vicarage Lane, Stapleford from its junction with A119 High Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Sacombe Road, a distance of approximately 970m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A119 High Road, Bullsmill Lane and Sacombe Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1368 (UNNAMED ROAD), HARE STREET) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1368 (unnamed road), Hare Street from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Wayside House’ south eastwards for a distance of approximately 29m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Hare Street Road/High Street/Baldock Road), A10 (Buntingford Bypass/unnamed road) and B1368 (Buntingford Road/Wickham Hill/Station Road/Green End/Hay Street/Dassels/Dassels Hill/ unnamed road).
The Order is needed because water service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH FRONTING NOS.68-92 STANSTEAD ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath fronting Nos.68-92 Stanstead Road, Hertford from a point in line with the western boundary of No.86 Stanstead Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 15m (“the Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footpath fronting Nos.68-92 Stanstead Road, the footway situated on the south side of B1502 Stanstead Road and the footpath fronting Nos.68-92 Stanstead Road.
The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed near the Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 February 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DARK LANE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dark Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Franklin Avenue northwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Dark Lane, Cromwell Avenue, Churchgate, B156 Goffs Lane and Dark Lane.
The Order is needed because excavation works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B181 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with A414 Eastwick Road south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with B181 High Street, a distance of approximately 1362m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B181 (Roydon Road/High Street/Station Road), A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue), A1169 Elizabeth Way, Roydon Road, Harlow Road and B181 High Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bosanquet Road, Hoddesdon from a point 22m south east of its junction with Rye Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 15m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bosanquet Road, Rye Road, Cecil Road, Salisbury Road and Bosanquet Road.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (STATION ROAD AND AMWELL LANE, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
ROAD HUMPS (HODDESDON ROAD AND ROYDON ROAD, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a new 20mph zone in parts of Stanstead Abbotts as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice and new 40mph speed limit restrictions in those roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

Hoddesdon Road:
from a point 4.5 metres north west of a point in line with the projected north west kerbline of Louisville Close north westwards for 8.6 metres
from a point 4.2 metres north west of a point in line with the projected north west kerbline of Hoddesdon Road (Service Road) north westwards for 8.6 metres.
from a point 5 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between 45 and 47 Hoddesdon Road southwards for 8.6 metres.
from a point 14.2 metres south west of a point in line with the north west boundary of 59 Hoddesdon Road south westwards for 8.6 metres.
from a point 15.8 metres south west of a point in line with the north east boundary of 102 Hoddesdon Road south westwards for 8.6 metres.
Roydon Road:
from a point 4 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between 4 and 6 Roydon Road south eastwards for 8.6 metres.
from a point 2.6 metres south east of a point in line with the boundary between 31a and 33 Roydon Road south eastwards for 17.6 metres
from a point 32.8 metres north west of a point in line with the projected north west kerbline of Thele Avenue north westwards for 8.6 metres.
The flat topped road humps will be constructed at a height of approximately 65mm above the existing carriageway with on/off gradients of approximately 1:20.
Speed cushions
Hoddesdon Road – centred on a point 15.6 metres south east of a point in line with the projected south east kerbline of Sanville Gardens.
Roydon Road – centred on a point 5.6 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between 10 and 12 Roydon Road.
The speed cushions to be laid in pairs will be constructed and lit in accordance with
The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 at a height of approximately 65mm above the existing carriageway with on/off gradients of approximately 1:8 and side gradients of approximately 1:5.
