Bank Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BANK STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Bank Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bank Street from a point outside Halifax Bank.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 06:00 hours on the 18th February 2024 and remain in force until 16:00 hours on the 18th February 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
