Church Road, Brownhills, Walsall - Temporary Road Closure

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH CHURCH ROAD, BROWNHILLS (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in that length of: * CHURCH ROAD that is situated from its junction with A452 High Street to the entrance to Church Road long stay car park. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Notice will be via A452 High Street, Brickiln Street and Short Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on Monday 19 February 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier. The prohibition of traffic is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of South Staffordshire Water can undertake work to lay a new water service pipe in the carriageway in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. It is expected that the work will take place from 0800 (8.00 am) on Monday 19 February 2024 until 1630 (4.30 pm) on Friday 23 February 2024.
