What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Crabs Hill, Baughurst, Basingstoke & Rectory Lane, Kingsclere, Basingstoke

Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

Road(S) To Be Closed: Crabs Hill, Baughurst, Basingstoke between its junction with A339 Kingsclere Road and its junction with Church Lane.

Rectory Lane, Kingsclere, Basingstoke between its junction with A339 Kingsclere Road and a point approximately 250 Metres South-West.

Alternative Route: A339, B3051, Wheathold

Plantation Farm Cottages, Hannington Road, A339

Duration Of Order: from 19th February 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
