Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary One-Way Trafc Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary one-way restriction over an area of highway being Old Bridge Street, Truro between the properties numbered 9 and 11, from the South-West to North-East. The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out gas mains replacement works.
The Order will come into operation on 4th March 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 8th April 2024. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day weekends included.
Nothing in this order will apply to anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th February 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Veryan. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th February 2024 to 28th February 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd February 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th February 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being St Nicholas Street for its entire length and Boscawen Street between the junctions of King Street and Lemon Street, Truro.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order The County of Cornwall (Truro) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 2006 High Cross/St. Mary’s Street (Unclassifed) - from a point 33 yards east of its junction with King Street to its junction with Duke Street/ New Bridge Street, between the junctions of King Street and Old Bridge Street
The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out surfacing works.
The Order will come into operation on 19th February 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st March 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, trafc associated with the works brequired within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
