Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th February 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Hayle. This prohibition is necessary for fbre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th February 2024 to 1st March 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road afected - Bodriggy Street, Hayle between the junction of Higher Church Street and Chapel Lane.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th February 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th February 2024 to 23rd February 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Lelant Downs. This prohibition is necessary for fbre cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th March 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 
Temporary Prohibition of Trafc Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th February 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Footpath 45, in the Parish of Penzance between grid references SW 45797:30067 and SW 45868:30067. The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because urgent tree works are being executed on or near the public right of way to remove trees caught in overhead wires.
The Order will come into operation on 7th February 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th July 2024.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 17th January 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
