Order made: To close that part of the Slip Road on C2123Moons Moat Drive (eastbound only) to its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout

Reason: Replacement water mains by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2123 Moons Moat Drive (part), A4023 Coventry Highway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(U30022 Foregate Street, Astwood Bank, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and The Redditch Urban District Council (Foregate Street) (One-Way) Traffic Order 1966 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U30022 Foregate Street from its junction with U30022 Retreat Street to its junction with U30023 Butler Street and to temporarily suspend The Redditch Urban District Council (Foregate Street) (One-Way) Traffic Order 1966 to allow access to residents during the works.

Reason: Network connection by Comex2000.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U30022 Retreat Street, A441 Evesham Road, C2038 Feckenham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 February 2024.

(U23404 Primrose Hill, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Primrose Hill from its junction with C2170 Icknield Street to its junction with County Boundary.

Reason: Repair water main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Primrose Hill (Birmingham), Longdales Road (Birmingham), Gay Hill Lane (Birmingham), C2040 C2170 Icknield Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

5 days. Commencing: 8 February 2024.

(A448 The Slough, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of A448 The Slough from its junction with A441 Rough Hill Drive for a distance of 200 metres until the Boundary with Warwickshire.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Flowaime.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A448 The Slough (Warwickshire), Bromsgrove Road (Warwickshire), Haydon Way (Warwickshire), Birmingham Road (Warwickshire), A435 (Warwickshire), A422 (Warwickshire), A422 (Warwickshire), A422 Arrow Lane, A441 Evesham Road, A441 The Ridgeway, A441 Evesham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 March 2024.

(A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound Entry Slip Road) & A4023 Coventry Highway (Lane Closure), Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound Entry Slip Road) from its junction with Moons Moat roundabout to A4023 Coventry Highway. Closure 2: A4023 Coventry Highway (Lane closure) from its junction with the Exit Slip Road to Moons Moat roundabout, to its junction with Manor Side Industrial Estate in an easterly direction.

Reason: Safe working for cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout at B4497 junction, A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound), A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (21:00-06:00). Commencing: 29 February 2024.

(C2034 Rowney Green Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024 Order made: To close that part of C2034 Rowney Green Lane from its junction with C2001 Radford Road for a distance of 320 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2001 Radford Road, C2291 Swan Street, C2291 Redditch Road, C2034 The Holloway, C2034 Rowney Green Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(U22203 Pumphouse Lane, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U22203 Pumphouse Lane from its junction with C2060 Church Road for a distance of 150 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Laying of new ducting by Power On Connections.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U22203 Pumphouse Lane, U22204 Pumphouse Lane, U22205 Bentley Lane, C2079 Sillins Lane, U30000 Norgrove Lane, U30000 Crumpfields, C2060 Crumpfields Lane, C2060 Church Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(U33411 Dowlers Hill Crescent, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U33411 Dowlers Hill Crescent from its junction with U33411 Dowlers Hill Crescent to its junction with Link Footpath F30505 Dowlers Hill (adj to playground). Closure 2: U33411 Dowlers Hill Crescent from its junction with U33410 Auxerre Avenue to its junction with U33412 Greenlands Avenue.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Closure 1: Link Footpath leading to F30505 Greenlands Avenue and Dowlers Hill Crescent, Link Footpath F30505 Dowlers Hill (adj to playground), U33420 Granhill Close, Link Footpath F30948 Granhill Close to top steps (o/s no. 32), Link Footpath F30501 Granhill Close, Link Footpath F30502 Wharrington Hill (side no. 1) to Ladygrove Close, U33409 Wharrington Hill, U33410 Auxerre Avenue, U33411 Dowlers Hill Crescent and vice versa. Closure 2: U33412 Greenlands Avenue, U33413 Sheldon Road, U33410 Auxerre Avenue and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 24 days between 4 March 2024 and 5 April 2024.
