What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 38 (PART) CHEADLE PARISH
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Staffordshire County Council, on the 06.02.24 made an Order the effect of which will
be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 38 Cheadle Parish from its junction with
Churchill Rd for approximately 37 metres in an easterly direction, and then 230 metres in a generally north-easterly
direction to its junction with the alleyway leading to Ness Grove.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to resurfacing
works required to integrate the footpath into the adjacent housing development.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in
the area.
This Order will come into operation on 12.02.24 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk
of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for
a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 19/12/23, made an Order the effect of which will be to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Ilam Moor Ln in Ilam.
DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, WORK HAS BEEN DELAYED AND IS NOW DUE TO CONTINUE ON
13/02/24 WITH AN ANTICIPATED END DATE OF 15/02/24.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pipe renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out
on or near the road, have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of:

near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
