TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH THORLEY 22 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Thorley 22, section heading west across the level crossing, for an approximate distance of 50m. Alternative route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network The purpose of the Order is to enable repair works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 01 February 2024 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FORD HILL, LITTLE HADHAM) ORDER 2024 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ford Hill, Little Hadham from its junctions with The Ford south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via The Ford, The Ash, Stortford Road, Cradle End, Acremore Street and Ford Hill. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A1250 HADHAM ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1250 Hadham Road, Bishops Stortford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.58 Hadham Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A1250 (Hadham Road/Link Road/The Causeway/Hockerill Street/Dunmow Road), A120 (unnamed road/Bishops Stortford Bypass) and A1250 Hadham Road. The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WILLOW MEAD, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2024 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Willow Mead, Sawbridgeworth from a point 49m south west of its junction with Springhall Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN PARSONAGE LANE, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Parsonage Lane, Bishops Stortford from its junction with A1250 Dunmow Road north westwards and westwards to its junction with B1383 Stansted Road, a distance of approximately 1094m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A1250 Dunmow Road and B1383 Stansted Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
