What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Coleshill Ln, Winchmore Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coleshill Lane for approx 51M. Alternative route: Fagnall Lane, Coleshill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement commences on 5 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Kingswood Rd, Tylers Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Kingswood Road for approx 357M. The closure is required whilst a gas mains replacement commences on 26 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Honor Rd, Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Honor Rd for approx 228M. Alternative route: Honor Rd, Hildreth Rd, Wycombe Rd, High St, Nairdwood Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 12 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Public Footpath No.15, Chepping Wycombe (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.15, Chepping Wycombe, from the junction of Hammersley Lane, west approximately 210M to Sandpits Lane. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out for Tree Felling. Alternative route is via existing Highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 February 2024, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Public Footpath No.64, Chesham (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.64, Chesham, from the junction of Lye Green Road to a point approximately 61M North on the Footpath. The closure is required whilst electrical works on the network are taking place. The alternative route whilst the closure is effective via the existing Public Right of Way Network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Public Footpath No.3, Parish of Amersham (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of entire Amersham Footpath No.3 from junction of Rectory Hill to the junction of A416. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out to improve drainage. Alternative route is via existing highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th February 2024, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
