LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

THE WALTHAM FOREST (TRAFFIC CALMING WORKS) (E17 ROADS) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 1st February 2024 it made an Order to allow for traffic calming works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in various E17 roads within the said borough.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed or, where applicable, covered - to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose "at any time" in the roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule to this notice.

Vehicular access to properties affected by these temporary measures will be maintained wherever possible, subject to the extent and operation of the closures.

Any one way working in the roads or any road adjoining within the extents of the closure of any road mentioned in the schedule to this notice will also be suspended.

The Order will come into operation from 1st February 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: Signage will be placed in advance of any works in these roads which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary. Construction works will be carried out during daytime or overnight (ref: TT1(24)).

THE WALTHAM FOREST (UKPN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY INSTALLATION) (ORFORD ROAD E17) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 1st February 2024 it made an Order to allow for the installation of an electricity supply line, by UK Power Networks (UKPN), in a safe and efficient manner in Orford Road E17.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except work vehicles) from entering proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at "any time" in Orford Road E17 - (northeast - southwest arm) east-side - between its junction with Beulah Road and with Wingfield Road.

Designated controlled parking space situated in the part of the road affected by the measures set out in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.

Whilst works are being carried out in the road or part of road mentioned in paragraph 2 of this notice, any one-way working or no-entry prohibition in that road, or in any roads adjoining that road, will be temporarily suspended.

The Order will come into operation on 5th February 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 3 days, however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (ref: TT5(24))

THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER CARRIAGEWAY REPAIRS) (NEW ROAD E4) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 1st February 2024 it made an Order to allow for remedial reinstatement of the carriageway in New Road E4, to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in New Road E4 - between the common boundary of Nos. 202/204 and its junction with Woodview Avenue (WA) (between the northern boundary of the access way to No. 56 WA and a point directly south to the western kerb line of WA).

Designated controlled parking space situated in any road or part of road affected by the measures set out in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.

The Order will come into operation on 13th February 2024 and for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 3 days, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (ref: TT6(24))

THE WALTHAM FOREST (VARIOUS ROADS) (STRUCTURAL PROGRAMME) (VARIOUS MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024 (TT7(24))

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 1st February 2024 it made an Order to enable highway maintenance and lining works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in:

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait or load for any purpose, at any time, within 30 metres of the junction of any road adjoining the roads or sections of roads contained in paragraph 2 above.

Whilst works are being carried out in any roads mentioned in paragraph 2 the one-way workings/no entry prohibitions for those sections of roads, or in any road adjoining those said sections of roads mentioned in paragraph 2 will be temporarily suspended.

The Order will come into operation on 1st February 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all roads but in a sequence as directed by the Council. Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the above-mentioned roads which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.

THE WALTHAM FOREST (NETWORK RAIL BRIDGE INSPECTION) (KINGS ROAD E4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 1st February 2024 it made an Order to enable Network Rail to carry out detailed bridge inspection works in Kings Road E4, in a safe and efficient manner.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, "at any time" in Kings Road E4 - between the common boundary of Nos. 55/57 and the common boundary of Nos. 67/69.

Uncontrolled parking space situated in the part of road affected by the measures set out in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.

The Order will come into operation on 8th February 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. On the day of the works the Order will be valid from 10:30pm-4:30am.

NOTE: The works are anticipated to be completed within 1 night, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any aborted works due to bad weather or other unforeseen constraints. (ref: TT8(24))

THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER MAINS AND SUPPLY) (AINSLIE WOOD GARDENS E4) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow for the replacement of the water mains and other apparatus, by Thames Water, in a safe and efficient manner in Ainslie Wood Gardens E4.

The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in:

(a) Ainslie Wood Gardens E4 (AWG) - between its junctions with Larkswood Road and with Ainslie Wood Road;

(b) Larkswood Road (south side) - between the common boundaries of Nos. 57/59 and of Nos. 204/206;

Uncontrolled parking space situated in any road or part of road affected by the measures set out in paragraph 2 will be suspended.

The Order would come into operation on 19th February 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works in Ainslie Wood Gardens E4 would be carried out in three phases, by dividing the said road into 3 sections, as described in the Schedule to this notice. Signage will be placed in advance of any works which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions and the section of the road to which they would apply, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary. The works in each section are expected to be completed within 3 weeks, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (ref: TT12(24)) SCHEDULE

Phase 1: between the junction of AWG with Ainslie Wood Road and the common boundary of Nos. 27/29 AWG

Phase 2: between the common boundaries of Nos. 25/27 AWG and of Nos. 63/65 AWG; and

Phase 3: between the common boundaries of Nos. 61/63 AWG and the junction of AWG with Larkswood Road (as described in point (b) above).

Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of these aforementioned Orders would be removed.

Whilst the prohibitions referred to in the aforementioned notices remain in force, advance warning signage and alternative routes for traffic shall be in place.

The prohibitions mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used -

a. in connection with the said works; or

b. for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow)
