Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2079 BEDGEBURY ROAD & MAYPOLE LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 1AN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage investigation into water leaks to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road & Maypole Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 14th February 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of Tiddymotts Lane to outside Whites. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tiddymotts Lane, B2079 Balcombes Hill, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, Ranters Lane, Peasley Lane, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.
BARDEN ROAD, BIDBOROUGH & SPELDHURST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to take place, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Barden Road, Bidborough & Speldhurst, on or after 14th February 2024 for 1 day.
The road will be closed between the junctions of B2176 Penshurst Road and Furzefield Avenue, working between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Barden Road, Speldhurst Hill, Penshurst Road, Poundsbridge, Poundsbridge Lane, B2176 Penshurst Road and vice versa.
COMMON ROAD, CRANBROOK, TN17 2JT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow a new gas main connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Common Road, Cranbrook, on or after 13th February 2024 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lomeer. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Common Road, A229 The Common, A229 Wilsey Pound, A262 Sissinghurst Road, A262 The Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
DOWDING WAY, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN2 3XF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dowding Way, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 13th February 2024 for up 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside North Farm House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via North Farm Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, Sandhurst Road, Birken Road, Liptraps Lane, Lamberts Road, Dowding Way and vice versa.
HARMONY STREET, RUSTHALL, TN4 8NT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Harmony Street, Rusthall, on or after 29th February 2024 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Toad Rock Retreat between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Harmony Street, Grange Road, Bretland Road, Rusthall Road, Harmony Street and vice versa.
HAYMANS HILL, HORSMONDEN, TN12 8DB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overhead fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Haymans Hill, Horsmonden, on or after 1st March 2024.
The road will be closed between the junctions of B2162 Maidstone Road and Grovehurst Lane during the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Haymans Hill, Grovehurst Lane, Goudhurst Road, The Heath, B2162 Maidstone Road, Haymans Hill and vice versa.
PADDOCK WOOD HALF MARATHON, TUNBRIDGE WELLS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Kent County Council intends to make an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-

The Order will be effective when required on Sunday 03 March 2024 between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply in the direction and only at such times as indicated by traffic signs in operation.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:
• Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.
• Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
• Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.
PEARSONS GREEN ROAD, BRENCHLEY, TN12 7DB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pearsons Green Road, Brenchley, on or after 28th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Castle Wood Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pearsons Green Road, Crook Road, Yew Tree Green Road, B2162 Maidstone Road, Churn Lane, Pearsons Green Road and vice versa.
STONE COURT LANE, PEMBURY, TN2 4DD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Stone Court Lane, Pembury, on or after 26th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no diversion for these works, access will be maintained when safe to do so.
TATTLEBURY LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 1BT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tattlebury Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 27th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A262 Cranbrook Road and School Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A262 Cranbrook Road, B2084 Chequers Road and School Road and vice versa.
THE GREEN, MATFIELD, TN12 7LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Green, Matfield, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Seymour Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Green, B2160 Maidstone Road, The Green and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
