What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(BEACONSFIELD TERRACE ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate the dismantling of a tower crane; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in a section of Beaconsfield Terrace Road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, stop, wait, load or proceed Beaconsfield Terrace Road from the junction with Maclise Road to its junction with Blythe Road.

3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Hammersmith Road, Maclise Road, Blythe Road, Milson Road, Faroe Road, Sterndale Road, Shepherds Bush Road, Brook Green Road, Aynhoe Road and Hazlet Road.

4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 16th February 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works will be expected to commence on Friday 16th February 2024 and last to the 19th February 2024. Backup dates would be between 23rd February 2024 and 26th February 2024. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
