(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (ECN05009 Footway/Cycleway Subway & ECN05048 Footway, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (No.3) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 6-month period from 8th February 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(York Hill, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of York Hill, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Steeds Way to its junction with Kings Hill a distance of approximately 120m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (TY05026054294 - Community Fibre Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Community Fibre Limited.
An alternative route is available via York Hill, Church Hill, Pump Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dukes Avenue, Theydon Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dukes Avenue, Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 85m east then south east of its junction with Purlieu Way for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterlydirection. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410220508 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service pipe works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Purlieu Way, Baldocks Road, Heath Drive and vice versa (with access only into Dukes Avenue).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hemnall Street, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hemnall Street, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hartland Road to its junction with Star Lane a distance of approximately 45m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30056727484 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while link box installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Hartland Road, The Drummonds, Kendal Avenue, Hemnall Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Horseshoe Hill, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Horseshoe Hill, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Pick Hill for a distance of approximately 535m in an easterly, north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2354018 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage installation and maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Upshire Road, Paternoster Hill, Parklands, Crooked Mile Roundabout, Abbeyview, Abbeyview Roundabout, Highbridge Street, Meridian Way, Sewardstone Road Roundabout, Sewardstone Road, Dowding Way, Volunteer Roundabout, Honey Lane, Woodridden Hill, Woodgreen Road, Wake Arms Roundabout, High Road, Crown Hill, Copthall Green, Horseshoe Hill and vice versa (with access only into Parklands, Paternoster Hill, Upshire Road, Horseshoe Hill, Copthall Green, Crown Hill).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Theydon Road, Theydon Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Jacks Hill, Loughton & Coppice Row, Epping) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Theydon Road, Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 200m south west of its junction with Great Gregories Lane a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction on that length of Jacks Hill, Loughton & Coppice Row, Epping, from its junction with the B1393 to its junction with A113 Ongar Road as cited in the "Epping Forest District Council Epping Forest District (Coppice Row, Theydon Bois) (Weight Restriction) Order 1994" for the duration of the closure only.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 15th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410221224 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap installation works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Theydon Road, Piercing Hill, Coppice Row, Jacks Hill, Wake Arms Roundabout and High Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Toot Hill Road, Stanford Rivers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Toot Hill Road, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 445m south east of its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06056272/AP -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Toot Hill Road, Mutton Row, Drapers Corner, Greensted Road and vice versa (with access only into Toot Hill Road).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.1) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25th January 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Woodland Way, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodland Way, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 45m north west of its junction with Kettlebury Way for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30035142098 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Kettlebury Way and vice versa (with access only into Woodland Way).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
