THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION

(A377 ROAD FROM EGGESFORD STATION TO TONYFIELD WOOD CROSS, EGGESFORD) ORDER 2024
TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 12/2/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 29/3/24No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 20 miles per hour on the length of road below.

Roads affected - A377 ROAD FROM EGGESFORD STATION TO TONYFIELD WOOD CROSS, EGGESFORD: From a point 1500 metres west of Nymet Cross in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 450 metres.

The speed limit in this order will supersede any existing limits when temporary traffic signage is in place. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: VEHICLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM.

Roads affected: CHURCH LANE [HOLEWELL LANE], CHERITON BISHOP The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD FROM FOUR CROSS WAYS TO COTTAGE CROSS, ROAD FROM CHERITON CROSS TO FOUR CROSS WAYS & VICE VERSA.

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 4/3/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 22/3/24. No person shall proceed on the sections of Affected Paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths.

Roads affected: RACKFIELD, TIVERTON, FOOTWAY CLOSURE The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - RACKFIELD, KING STREET, BROAD LANE, BREWIN ROAD, RACKFIELD & VICE VERSA.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REPLACE 64.5M OF OLD METALLIC GAS MAINS WITH 64.5M OF NEW PLASTIC MAINS & RENEW/ TRANSFER SERVICE PIPES TO ADJACENT PREMISES. PHASE ONE OF WORKS ON RACKFIELD.

Roads affected: A377 ROAD FROM COPPLESTONE CROSS TO SHIRLEY CORNER, COPPLESTONE The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - A377, A30, A382, A3124, A3072, & VICE VERSA.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING.

Roads affected: CRACKER CORNER TO FENACRE BRIDGE, WESTLEIGH The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - CRACKER CORNER THROUGH BURLESCOMBE TO JCT WITH A38. A38 TO LONGWOOD LANE, LONGWOOD LANE TO FENACRE BRIDGE TO WESTLEIGH QUARRY ENTRANCE & VICE VERSA.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: SURFACING, TRAFFIC SIGNS, & DRAINAGE WORK
