What is happening?
CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL PTRO Boundary Lane
Notice is hereby given that in accordance with section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council, is proposing to install speed cushions along the length of Boundary Lane as shown on plan GS-Boundary Ln -05. Plans showing the location of the proposed features may be examined at the Council Offices, HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday and may be viewed in the Public Notices section of the Council's website.

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
(Ashton Hayes/Mouldsworth Area) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20-mph speed limit on Church Road, Ashton Hayes, from a point 110 metres north of its junction with Gongar Lane to a point 175 metres south of its junction with Peel Hall Lane, a distance of approximately 575 metres.
The Order will also consolidate existing speed limits. Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposal, may be viewed in the Public Notices section of the Council's website, or at Cheshire West and Chester HQ, 58 Nicholas Street, Chester CH1 2NP. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 23 rd February 2024 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations relating to the Order should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7751 - Brassey's Contract Road in Malpas
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Malpas to enable cabling and gully works to be carried out by Openreach. Brasseys Contract Road - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO 15786 - Old Dee Bridge in Chester City & the Garden Quarter
Ward Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Chester City and the Garden Quarter Ward to enable Traffic signal refurbishment works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council. Lower Bridge Street, Handbridge - Old Dee Bridge 24-hour closure.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Neston to enable utility works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council. Bridge Street - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 19th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO 7748 - Dunkirk Way (A5117) in Ellesmere Port
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Ellesmere Port to enable resurfacing works to be carried out by National Highways. Slip Road from Dunkirk R/About, Dunkirk Way - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 19th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 1 weeks to complete, however pending investigation on site potential for closure to be in place for up to 2 weeks.
Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Lower Bridge Street, Grosvenor Street, Grosvenor Roundabout, Grosvenor Road, Overleigh Roundabout, Overleigh Road, Eaton Road, Handbridge, and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Malpas to enable cabling and gully works to be carried out by Openreach.
