What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

STONEHAVEN – PROPOSED 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

Aberdeenshire Council proposes to make “The Aberdeenshire Council (A957, Slug Road, Stonehaven) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023” under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The effect of the order will be to extend the existing 30mh speed limit on the A957, Slug Road, Stonehaven from 143 metres from its junction with William Mackie Road, northwestwards for 540 metres including the roundabout.

Full details of the proposal are in the draft order and plan which, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined online via www.aberdeenshire. gov.uk/roads-and-travel/roads/ traffic-management/trafficmeasures/ Any queries should be directed to Claire Glennie on 01467 535691.

Anyone wishing to object should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the undersigned or via the above website from 2 February 2024 until 23 February 2024. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
